The FTTH pulling eye with RTG Ø 3 mm thread is used to repair the FTTH pulling tape Ø 3,3 mm.
The high-quality stainless steel pulling eyes ensure a reliable connection and safe power transmission when pulling in fibre optic cables. To repair a damaged or broken FTTH pulling tape Ø 3,3 mm, a new thread is first cut at the end of the tape using the RUNPOTEC FTTH thread cutter.
The RUNPOTEC special adhesive (item no. 30064) is then applied to the newly cut thread and the pulling eye is screwed on. The bonding creates a permanent and resilient connection that allows the pulling tape to be used again.
The pulling eye can then be used in combination with the RUNPOTEC FTTH crimp sleeves for the secure connection of fibre optic cables. Alternatively, the pulling eye is also suitable for direct connection to aramid or glass fibre yarns. The pulling yarns can be passed through the eye and secured with a knot. This creates a reliable connection for the pulling process without the need for additional connecting elements.
