The FTTH thread cutter was specially developed for cutting a new thread on the FTTH pulling tape Ø 3,3 mm. It enables quick and easy repair of the pulling tape after damage or breakage and ensures that the tape can be reused without significant loss of time. To use, the thread cutter is placed on the blunt end of the pulling tape and turned clockwise until the pulling tape rests against the integrated stop. This automatically produces the optimum thread length. The FTTH pulling eye is then screwed on as a test to check whether the cut thread fits perfectly. Afterwards, the special adhesive is applied to the thread and the FTTH pulling eye is screwed on and thus bonded. The bonding creates a permanent and resilient connection that allows the pulling tape to be used again.
