Description
The FTTH set includes the FTTH pulling tape as well as all tools and accessories required for the secure connection and repair of fibre optic cables directly on site. The complete set is supplied in the robust RUNPOTEC system case (W-Boxx).
The FTTH cable pulling tape Ø 3,3 mm with a length of 120 m and integrated metre counter was developed as a complete pulling system for the professional installation of fibre optic cables in fibre optic protective ducts from an inner diameter of only 4 mm.
Thanks to the small diameter of only Ø 3,3 mm including crimp sleeve, fibre optic cables can be pulled into fibre optic protective ducts from an inner duct diameter of just 4 mm. The tape length of up to 120 m with integrated metre counter allows a wide range of applications, for example the installation of fibre optic cables without blowing technology in buildings or for feeder lines.
The integrated digital metre counter enables precise length measurement (in metres or feet) directly during the pulling process as well as locating the position of damaged sections. The outlet also acts as a backstop, prevents the pulling tape from running back unintentionally and can easily be replaced if required. The pulling tape is fitted with a pre-mounted pulling eye as standard.
The total breaking load of the pulling tape is 80 kg. The specially developed connection method using the FTTH crimp sleeve ensures a secure and resilient connection between pulling tape and fibre optic cable.
